Description
LDIF (LDAP Data Interchange Format) is a text format for representing LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directory entries. It's used for importing and exporting directory data, and is commonly used with LDAP servers.

Reading
The LDIF implementation:
- Uses
ldif3orldiflibrary for parsing - Parses LDIF format line by line
- Extracts directory entries (DN and attributes)
- Handles continuation lines
- Converts each entry to a dictionary
- Supports streaming for large files
Writing
Writing is not currently supported for LDIF format.
